Bethesda’s annual “Every Member In Church” (EMIC) service will be on November 25th. The service is usually set to coincide with the Festival of Christ The King Sunday. This Sunday is the last Sunday of the Pentecost season and of the liturgical church year. EMIC Sunday was introduced several years ago as a means of trying to get all of our members to worship at least one Sunday of the year as a whole Bethesda family. This year we have a special guest preacher. Rev. Dr. Michael Pryse, Bishop of the Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada will join us for worship and bring us the message.
Attending church on Sundays has become a challenge for many Christians in the last few decades. Over time many changes have taken place in our society. These changes have thrown up the challenges people face in terms of how to cope with the many demands on them and their limited time.
Members are encouraged to make a special effort to attend this service on November 25th.
