Bethesda church and cemetery will be on show in the 2017 Doors Open Markam event.  This is not the first time Bethesda will be part of this important cultural event which gives people from near and far the opportunity to visit and learn about important entities which have historical and cultural significance because of their contribution to society.  Of course Bethesda church and cemetery have historical links to the original Berczy settlers who came to Markham in 1794.

The Doors Open event will be on September 30th.  The church and cemetery will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  There will be guided tours between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, conducted by volunteers from the Doors Open organization.  At other times members of the congregation will be on hand to answer questions.
