Our annual Fall Corn Roast Social will be held at the Smith Farm on McCowan Road, north of Major MacKenzie Drive on Sunday, September 10, starting at 3:00 pm. Please note the change of date. Corn, fruit, cookies and drinks will be provided.    There will be activities for children and adults, including wagon rides, a nature walk, games, and a scavenger hunt.  Please bring your lawn chairs and warm clothing in case of a chilly afternoon.

The Corn Roast event will support the Markham Foodbank.  We ask that you please bring non-perishable food items such as rice, canned vegetables and beans, juice, snacks for children, and instant coffee.  Monetary donations are also welcome.  is one of the social events through which we raise funds for our Sharecropper Project.  This will be part of Bethesda’s local community outreach.
