Bethesda’s Mission Outreach Committee is hosting a Foodgrains Fundraising Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday evening, November 16th at the Church.  The meal will be served between 5:00 & 6:30 pm.  Tickets are $20 for Adults and $10 for Children Under 12.

This fundraiser is in support of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, a charity that has been close to Bethesda for many years.  Its work to support food insecurity through partnership with 15 Churches and Church agencies, including Canadian Lutheran World Relief, is very well known.  

This year, our fundraising efforts will be matched by the Gerhard and Elma Schickedanz Foundation up to $5000.  Whatever donations we receive are doubled by the foundation, and when received by the Foodgrains Bank are matched 4-1 by the Canadian Government.  This is an excellent way of converting a little into a lot to support this mission.  

Donations can be made through your envelopes.  Please mark any cheques “Foodgrains” in the memo line and also mark your envelopes “Foodgrains”.  Donations for this drive will be received until December 15, 2025
