Once again, Bethesda rose to the occasion and filled 50 “We Care” bags.  These bags are filled with school supplies and a toy by our members and will be distributed to children in various parts of the world, that are not as fortunate as ours.  This is a program of Canadian Lutheran World Relief.  We have been participating in this outreach  program for more than four years now.

Bethesda wishes to express thanks to all those who participated in this outreach.  Special thanks to Anne Matthiessen who, through her music school, filled an additional 50 bags, and the congregation of St. Paul who contributed a further 6 bags.  A big thank you goes to Marike Kukla who spearheads this project on behalf of the congregation.
